Latest Updates from Yoga on Tay
Yoga on Tay is having a teaching break for the month of August to allow for some rest and renewal. There will be no yoga classes during August but we have several home practice sequences available for you. All the Level 1 sequences are suitable for beginners.
All our home practice sequences have accompanying audio from our Senior Iyengar Yoga teacher, Julie Anderson, taking you through the poses. We encourage you to give them a go.
Subject to Scottish Government guidance, we will be announcing our new timetable on Monday 24th August with the Studio re-opening in September. Our new timetable will include a return to live studio classes and will see us continuing with online zoom classes.
We'll also be working away in the background with preparations to re-open the studio safely. You can stay in touch by subscribing to our newsletter or following our facebook page.

12 April 2020: New Home Practice Sequence (no.5) with Audio
Sequence 5 is a longer sequence (1 hour plus), and includes shoulderbalance and a long Savasana. Enjoy!

We have been busy making more audio classes and have uploaded two new audio files:
We suggest you work with each sequence 3-4 times before moving on to the next one, becoming familiar with the sequence so that you will be ready to progress.
We plan to keep making audio files at least once a week and also to offer a small number of weekly 'live' on-line classes, probably using Zoom, after Easter. We will alert you via our Newsletter of new audios and when on-line classes start. Sign up to the newsletter here:
27 March 2020 : Yoga in Uncertain Times - Home practice resources added to website
As we will be closed for an uncertain amount of time, we are now creating audio files for you to use with the practice sheets, with Julie teaching the sequence in real time. You will be able to use these sheets and audio files when and wherever it suits you, repeat them as often as you like, or even download them so you can use them without WiFi.

CORONA Virus update (20 March)
Last week we found enough hand sanitiser to share with all and this week we have been teaching classes with minimal equipment and minimal adjustments, and cleaning all hard surfaces between classes.
Many of you, who felt it both safe appropriate, have come to class this week and we appreciate that you could. Just as we understand for others attending a class this week would have been inappropriate.
We are very sad to now have to temporarily close the studio from today for 4 weeks in the first instance, so until at least Friday 17th of April.
We will review this possibly optimistic re-opening date in the week beginning April 13th and will update you here, and on our Facebook page.
Any credits outstanding will now have no expiry date so will be honoured in full when we are able to re-open.
