We offer a friendly environment offering excellent tuition to a growing yoga community.
The physical space of Yoga on Tay is perfect for yoga: light, bright and warm (thanks to underfloor heating), and with plenty of props available. Also since Covid we have added an air cleaning, ventilation and purification system as well.
Yoga on Tay studio is also part of an international yoga school where we learn how to practice under the watchful eyes of teachers in what is recognised as the most rigorous yoga teacher training system worldwide: Iyengar Yoga.
Our teachers teach in a very safe, sequenced manner, sometimes dynamically sometimes with attention to detail, they help students learn to appreciate how props can support poses and improve self-understanding at the same time.
Our commitment to our own practice and training is why we ask you, our students to book a block of classes whenever possible, as regular attendance with the same teacher benefits both. Your teacher can better prepare classes for you and you can continue to develop your yoga.
Before you attend a class in the Studio, please read our Studio Policies.

The underfloor heating makes it ideal for activities such as pilates, Tai Chi or similar - and the new wallbars make a great addition for any fitness based class. We have now added air cleaning and purification. Being on the High Street also means that the space is ideal for Pop-Up Shops!
