ANNUAL YOGA RETREAT This year we will explore in a bit more depth, so Julie requests a minimum of 2 years current Iyengar class experience. PROGRAMME The retreat starts with asana on Saturday afternoon, Sunday and Monday: programme is planned for: Pranayama 7-8am, Asana 10am-12.30pm and 4-6pm. Our programme allows an hour after breakfast on Sunday and Monday for karma yoga, in the spirit of the resident community and a nice thing to do. Either helping with kitchen, house-care or garden tasks and still leaving plenty time for you to enjoy nature walks along the shore or up the hill, some outdoor swimming or just chill on the terrace with a coffee watching the yachts. Julie is the Senior Teacher at Yoga on Tay in Fife, also qualified as an Assessor, Teacher Trainer, Mentor and Yoga Therapist with IY(UK). Julie teaches widely as a guest teacher and has had many trips to India to train with the Iyengars. She has much to share in yoga and this year would like to work in a bit more depth hence the requirement for a minimum of 2 years current class experience. ENQUIRIES AND BOOKING FOR THE RETREAT a) The course £190: to attend we require 2 years current Iyengar experience. Please bring yoga kit of (mat, 4 blocks, 2 bricks, 2 belts, 1 blanket). b) The accommodation is comfortable and home cooking delicious. Full board and lodging costs, current prices are £198 single room, £294 for two people sharing a twin, £111 dorm please note that this may change: Once you have booked your place on the course (use the button below) you will then need to book your accommodation directly via the Holy Isle website https://www.holyisle.org/ Holy Isle is a special place, please take the time to read their Golden Rules https://www.holyisle.org/home/golden-rules/ TRANSFERS (ferries, buses, taxis) If you plan to take a car onto Brodick, Arran pre-book through CalMac otherwise you can pay as you go. The local bus meets the ferry in Brodick for the transfer to Lamlash and taxis are also an option. Lamlash to Holy Isle requires the 'wee' ferry. Tide times and therefore crossing times for your arrival day and departure day and have been set for your course as follows: Arrival Day 10th May 1215 and 1315: Departure Day 13th May crossing times 1000 and 1100. Cancellation Policy
DROP-IN BOOKINGS may be cancelled and rescheduled up to 2 hours before the class starts. You must do so yourself, online. Go to ‘my bookings’ and click on the booking you want to reschedule. There are no refunds given for Drop-in bookings. BLOCK BOOKINGS: Refunds for block bookings are only available in exceptional circumstances. These include a new injury or medical condition or bereavement. A medical certificate may be required. Refunds can only be given for the time period after we have been informed about the situation and not retrospectively. Bookings for WORKSHOPS and SPECIAL EVENTS are not refundable unless a replacement can be found to use your place.
