Welcome to Yoga on Tay. We are a dedicated yoga studio based in Newport on Tay, Fife, offering small classes for all ages and abilities, shapes and sizes, men and women. We offer a mix of studio and online classes and welcome both beginners and experienced yogis. We incorporate the only Iyengar Yoga School in North East Fife and Tayside, attracting people from a wide radius to access this wonderful system of yoga.

BACK IN THE STUDIO - From Monday 24 May 2021

The latest indications from Scottish Government are that indoor group exercise will be allowed from 17th May and  therefore most of our classes will be taught in our lovely, warm studio again from Monday 24th May (with all necessary Covid related measures in place).  Two classes will remain online for the foreseeable future: Monday evening (Level 1/2) and Thursday afternoon (Gentle). 

For now, we have to operate on reduced class sizes (8 max), and advanced booking is essential - all classes bookings will be for a 5 week block. 

As indicated in our latest newsletters,  all classes that are planned to be taught in the studio will need to revert to online if at any point we have to close the studio again due to Covid-19 restrictions. 

Booking a Drop In Zoom Class

We will have drop-in bookings available for online classes: our Level 1&2 class on Mondays at 6.30pm and the Gentle Yoga class on Thursdays at 2pm. 

All drop-in bookings are £10 and the classes are 75 minutes. View your class timetable.

Yoga Props and Equipment

The studio benefits from underfloor heating and is fully equipped with mats, bolsters, wall bars, ropes, blocks, belts and blankets normally available for you to use, however as part of Covid restrictions for now we ask people to bring their own kit. Studio Rental

Yoga on Tay is also suitable and available to rent for other bodywork and wellbeing treatments and activites such as Pilates, tai chi, shiatsu etc - for example we host aromatherapy massage on Sunday mornings. Find out more
